But they are being also added to other foods, even bottled water. Studies have found that there are more than 40 trillion microorganisms in the digestive system, that help with digestion, so it makes sense to help them by adding more microorganisms. However, researchers have found that only a handful of the strains actually help to treat specific health conditions.
